WILLS WINE

38 route de Lyon, Tupin-et-Semons, 69420

>> WILLS WINE is an evolution of the past ten years. Using the techniques and information that I’ve learned, to put into practice what my interpretation of wine is. I grew up with wine; you could say it runs in my blood. Which is why now, a decade since my very first harvest, I find myself standing proudly in my own cellar.

My vinification is simple, with the intention to retain energy and craft the style of wines that I want to share with friends and family. I only purchase fruit from growers who I like and are working in a way which aligns with my own views, either organically or with respect for their environment.

I produce wines from several different grape varieties, from wildly diverse terroirs that stretch from the southern Beaujolais to Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the Southern Rhône. By working with the same parcels, year after year, I can learn how to express each vineyard. The same philosophy as experienced first-hand from all those wonderful wine producers that I have studied and worked alongside.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Pierre-Yves Colin, Tamra Kelly-Washington, Doug Tunnell, Jean-Louis Chave and Julien Pilon (as well as the countless others) who’ve given me such encouragement and inspiration for Wills Wine.
